	General Chemical (Soda Ash) Partners is jointly owned by General Chemical Industrial Products Inc. (75%) and O-I (25%). O-I, based in Toledo, OH, is one of the world's largest consumers of soda ash and is the world leader in glass container manufacture. General Chemical (Soda Ash) Partners is a member of the American Natural Soda Ash Company (ANSAC), the export cooperative representing four of the five United States producers. ANSAC enhances the United States producers' low cost position by leveraging the cooperatives' global sales and marketing operations and creating distribution economies of scale. ANSAC sells soda ash in all global export markets except Western Europe and Canada.
